Comprehensive Parent Visa Advice in Brisbane

We proudly provide Australian citizens, permanent residents and eligible New Zealand citizens with comprehensive parent visa advice in Brisbane. We can help your parents receive permanent residency on their very first attempt. You and your parents must first prove that you meet the “Balance of Family Test” requirements. To meet this eligibility requirement, your family must be able to prove that they have at least half or more of their children living permanently in Australia.

There are various types of visas available for Brisbane residents. These include aged permanent residence, contributory residence and non-contributory residence, the likes of which we will detail below. As there are various options available, it can be difficult for Australian and New Zealand citizens as well as permanent residents to know which parent visa option is right for their family.

Unfortunately, this confusion often results in an incomplete application, something that the Australian Government will be more than happy to reject on the first attempt. What’s more, the legislation surrounding these options are full of complex jargon that is typically overwhelming for the uninitiated. It is likely the only time you will attempt such an application in your life and so you might find the complexities overwhelming.

As such, it is always advised that you contact our experts, as we have the skills, knowledge and experience to help you and your family achieve approval on the very first attempt. We will consult with you regarding your family situation to determine which option is right for your family before providing assistance with document and evidence procurement.

The results are, invariably, a much higher chance of you and your family receiving approval on the first attempt and that is why it is imperative that you contact our experts before commencing the application process.

What visas can our Brisbane migration agents help you with?

There are four options available with each option containing different stipulations for Brisbane families to receive approval.

They are as follows:

  1. Contributory (subclass 143): This option allows your family to live in the country on a permanent basis. You can also apply for the temporary residency option before the permanent visa but this option costs more and is spread out over a longer time period. You must also obtain an assurance which includes a bond.

  2. Non-contributory (subclass 884 & 864): This is a two-stage process which will allow your family to live in Australia on a temporary basis. Once the temporary residency is approved you can then apply for the permanent residency option and this allows you to spread the costs out over a period of a few years. This option also requires an assurance and this includes a bond.

  3. Aged option (subclass 804): This is an option that allows your family to apply for permanent residency if they already live here on a temporary basis. Unfortunately, this option contains extremely long wait times, sometimes up to 30 years.

  4. Parent option (subclass 103): This can be a direct option for applying for permanent residency but also contains extremely long wait times of up to 30 years.
